Barbara Salinas is a documentary photographer who shoots portraits, weddings and events.   Barbara Salinas Photography is internationally recognized for work in The New York Times Magazine, The New York Times Style Magazine and The New York Times Magazine Annual Issue. Barbara was chosen as Photo District News “Rising Star” and PDN’s “30 New and Emerging Photographers”. Barbara’s experience has spanned more than 15 years and has included working with numerous celebrities, fashion photo shoots and many gallery shows exhibiting her own unique work both inside and outside of New York City.

Out of the passion that Barbara has for photography combined with the indescribable love for her own young children Barbara created Funny Monkeys  – hand’s on workshops and short courses for children. Every child will be exposed to many aspects of photography and fashion while having a tremendous amount of fun. They will have the priviledge of working side by side with Barbara Salinas whose experience and knowledge will surely inspire and ignite their creativity.
Students will work as a team beginning with a concept taking turns with wardrobe, makeup and props using different backdrops while being photographed by Barbara Salinas. We will together as a team create a body of work that will be available for purchase by Barbara Salinas Photography 

 

Classes will be held Monday's and Tuesday's 4:30PM To 6:30PM at PieCraft Pizza Bar ~A Place where we "Break the Rules" a 1000 square feet space located upstairs in a private setting gives us the opportunity to turn up the creativity, break all the rules and create a masterpiece...while your child is exploring their creative side upstairs you could create your own masterpiece downstairs and enjoy a beverage...Lets break the Rules together and create a work of art at PieCraft!!
